This painting is dedicated to my father with love. I created my father’s portrait with my feelings on my watercolor brushes. He may not recognize this painting or myself. He is sick with short term memory lost. The painting was created in 9×12 in Arches Watercolor cold press paper and Lukas watercolors.

Artist Self Portrait

My name is Juan Velasquez and I love to paint in Watercolors.  On Aug 8th, 2015,  I decided to start my new daily painting blog by posting my self portrait. The painting was created using Arches watercolor paper 300 lb. cold press, Lukas watercolors, and the size of the painting is 9×12 inch. My goal is to create one small paint almost everyday and posted here. Most of my paintings will be available for bid on the daily paintwork gallery. Please feel free to leave comments. I would try to share as much as I can on this blog on how every paint is created.
