Hillsborough Winery Farm

Well, last week I went to a nice watercolor class at the hillsborough Winery Farm in Purcellville, VA. This class was with my favorite Watercolor Artist Catherine Hills. She is a great Artist and great teacher. I painted this winter landscape using strong colors on Fabriano paper 16×20 in size.

Ashburn Snow

This is a mixed media painting. Snow day was created using black ink and watercolor washes. It will make a great post card for Christmas. It was painted on Arches 300 lbs cold press watercolor paper, 9×12 in size, and Lukas watercolors.  The interesting part about this painting is that it was created from a photo taken while driving very slow thru my neighborhood.
